One Priceless Treasure

I had the idea of making another sword. Through the brainstorming process my idea "kinda shifted." I randomly though about "the sword and the stone." It also came to me related to the wood size I had available. This is my second attempt at making the idea. Because the first one broke on me. I was able to glue it back together. However, when I attempted again. Guess what, it broke again. So that project turned into something completely different. Story for a later date.   

  My nephew challenge to make his first wood carving project. I am pretty impressed how it came out. There was questions of course and directions. Especially because the project will look worse before it gets better.  It was fun for me being able to share my skills in a different way. Working through the process and seeing another person be successful.  I will have some stiff computation for garage space. The project came out amazing. It will be fun what projects that he will keep coming up with. Of course he had the normal problem of "what to make?" My book of secrete and random doodles came in handy to spark inspiration. Which I helped translate to reality.  

  My dad got his hands on a stanley hand plane many years ago. For as long as I can remember it has been hanging on his wall collection of old tools.  I started the adventure of getting it apart and cleaned. I was able to get it back together. However, the fine tune tool get it working correctly is another story. Partly because I have no idea exactly how to even use a hand plane. 

  It really difficult keeping on some sort of schedule, theme, and more. From managing craft adventures. The struggles of social media and trying to keep my self out of the "its not working rabbit hole."  Reminding myself the of my true mission and purpose. To share love, treasures, and courage at difficult times.  Its hard sometimes especially when work and general life gets in the way. How dare it.  I call this project A LOVED ONES HUG Loosing a loved one is difficult especially if your really close to them.
