It's all part of the process


Its all apart of the process. Ya, some might say your wasting your time or others will say "why even..."Seeing the first photo you might hear "just stop there." But why? 

Its easy.... maybe
It looks good.. well of course 
Why do more it looks OK. Which is true but...

Why stop when your invisioning something different. 

Why stop when you see potential of making it better. 

Why stop when there is more to learn and try.

I of course will acknowledge this is project specific and it is possible to over do. You cant however learn whats "To much" untill you get there. One way to avoid the "to much" is taking projects a little at a time. I have learned when my you has to many potential options. The right choice is to take a break. The answer will come with a second look and patients. 

True, I am probably crazy and destroyed my idea. Which some would classify that i wasted alot of time, money, effort etc. But I took a leap and tried. The leap to see what could possibly happen. This leap opened potential. Potential for something more beautiful to be created. Potential to learn, explore, and discover. 

The excuses of waste... is just that an excuse. Yes, this can have the potential of getting out of hand. However, with some patient, confidence, learning and improving will come. Cant learn if you dont try. Cant explore new things if your not motivated to failed. 
Ya, at the end it might not be successful. But whats treasured and more valuable is the moment of "im having fun." And treasure the potential and possibilities that will come, the journey, and the inspiration this might inspire for the future. 

I do believe, the story's not done till you have tried everything to bring to life the potential beauty held within.

How I started

       After doing research and ordering chisels I wanted to try. The process continued. The first question I asked myself was “what do I want to achieve?” The simple question of “what to make?” Through research and pondering ideas what usually comes to mind is sculptures. Sculptures are and can be breathtaking to look at. Unknowing to people is the amount of effort, skill, and tools required. I had many factors to consider for what to make, but the biggest one was “sculptures can need a good amount of space.” Do not get me wrong, they are beautiful and lovely to look at.
