2025 Review and 2026 Predictions

 


            I have had many ups and downs as probably many people have had. I have been pondering through this last year. One big thing that I have concluded is. I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone. The two biggest things that I have started doing this year and oddly have loved it. One started writing this blog. The second is making more videos and posting them on YouTube. There has been a lot of learning, problem solving, and of course the normal headaches. I know I have learned a lot and of course oddly have had fun. Can I say exactly what and how these adventures have helped me, no. But I do know that if I continue, the possibilities are endless.  

            For 2026 do I have any predictions. No, because I’ve had normal attempts and regular failures. The biggest prediction too and one thing will continue is. To continue to “push out of my comfort zone.”  Do I have any ideas what comfort zone challenges I will try. Of course not. Will the adventures be successful, I will not know unless I try. Will I have instant success. Probably No, plus I don’t want instant popularity. Because true success is not the popularity it is enjoying the journey and the small priceless moments. It’s seeing the progress from where you have started and how far you have come. The adventures of life with the normal ups and downs. I would like to thank you for supporting my blog and my project videos. Here’s to the adventures, challenges, and future projects for 2026. Do I have any idea of what my projects might be. I wish it was that simple however, I feel it wouldn’t be as much fun if they came that easy.

How I started

       After doing research and ordering chisels I wanted to try. The process continued. The first question I asked myself was “what do I want to achieve?” The simple question of “what to make?” Through research and pondering ideas what usually comes to mind is sculptures. Sculptures are and can be breathtaking to look at. Unknowing to people is the amount of effort, skill, and tools required. I had many factors to consider for what to make, but the biggest one was “sculptures can need a good amount of space.” Do not get me wrong, they are beautiful and lovely to look at.
